GDFL Power Rankings featuring Tommy Love ”The Athlete“ who has played a major role for the Upstate Predators and helping them continue to stay undefeated as the #2 to team in the country who are looking to blaze a path to Racine, Wisconsin come Labor Day weekend.

1.(5-0)Raiders (1): The Racine Raiders dominated on both sides of the ball in the second half against the Tigers and extended their winning streak to 21 straight games, which ties the 1983-1984 win streak by the then Racine Gladiators. Head coach Wilbert Kennedy also became the second Raiders head coach in history to record his 100th career win joining “Mr. Raider” Bob Milkie who has 137 career wins.

2. (5-0)Predators (2): 

This past weekend Predators have officially sat in their throne as kings of the 585 with a 44-6 win over the Charlotte Colonials to close out the series for the season. This game would involve big hits, forced fumbles , run overs and long passes all with a presence of rivalry. 

3.(5-0) Strong (4): The Syracuse Strong  jump back into the top 3 after Seahawks fall to Stampede and the Blue Devils are a no -show.

4.(5-0) Outlaws (6): The Outlaws followed star QB Dominique White lead to pick up the 26-10 win against the Huntsville Rockets at home. With the win, the Outlaws remain unbeaten and take control of the Xtreme South Division. 

5.(5-1) Seahawks (3):  Seahawks (5-1) drop two spots after losing to the Buffalo Stampede (4-2) with a 5-1 record, the Seahawks are determined to get back to their winning ways and solidify their position atop the Impact South division.

6.(4-1) Rockets (4): The Huntsville Rockets looked to prove that they were the real deal and they did just that in Saturdays contest against the Knoxville Grizzlies. The Rocket offense started the game with a punt on the first drive, but quickly got on track scoring on 6 of the remaining 8 drives. Rashad Goode would lead the charge for the Rockets with 133 all purpose yards and three touchdowns. The Rocket defense played an amazing game as well pitching a shutout in the 42-0 victory.

7.(4-2) Stampede (7):  Despite the upset over the Seahawks the Buffalo remains at #7. The Stampede was looking to spoil the homecoming of Head Coach James Crowell who stated that he spent time in Buffalo as a teen. In the end the Stampede were able to achieve their goal and defeated the Seahawks in a hard-fought game that went down to the last play of the game 16 to 8.

8.(3-2) Grizzlies (8): The Grizzlies maintain their hold at the # 8 Spot as a Kentucky Spartan team just continues to make themselves less and less competitive week after week!
