GDFL GAME RECAP: OUTLAWS TAKE CONTROL OF XTREME SOUTH

Clarksville,Tennessee-The Outlaws followed star QB Dominique White lead to pick up the 26-10 win against the Huntsville Rockets at home. The International pro standout completed 10 of 14 passes for 182 yards with two touchdowns.

Offensive Stats: White had a 70 yard TD pass to TyQuan Stewart. White also added 2 catches for 44 yards to Mark Brown and a 38 yard TD pass to Davaunte Homer. A 14 yard pass to Kalon Jeter and a16 yard pass to Anthony Dyson.

Running back’s by committee: Greg Hancock 2 carries for 31 yards. John Cooper, Jr. 1 carry for 12 yards. Gary Fearn, Jr. 2 carries 9 yards.

The Outlaws out-gained the Rockets by more than 100 total yards and converted 8 of 13 third-down attempts. With the win, the Outlaws give  themselves an opportunity in Week 6 to remain unbeaten and take control of the Xtreme South Division. 

Defensive Stats: Kervin Whithead had an interception for a TD and a force fumble. Jeff Taua’i had 2 forced fumbles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, a fumble recovery. 3 TFL by Accente Hill, Sr. and 1 sack. A fumble recovery for a TD by Deangelo Miller. Anthony Smith, Jr. had 1 fumble recovery and 2 sacks.

Saturday's game represented exactly what head coach Luther Gregory team is capable of when the offense and defense are playing at their highest level.
