"Wolves join new pack for 2020"
Westmoreland,Pa- The Gridiron Developmental Football League is proud to announce the addition of the Westmoreland Wolves for the 2020 season. Westmoreland joins the GDFL after competing in the PAFL Tier 1 last season.
The Wolves enter their fourth season of play and have decided that the move to the GDFL is what's in their best interest. Having made the playoffs in each of their previous three seasons the Wolves look to improve on their overall team record in 2020.
The 2020 Wolves aspire for bigger and better things and believe that is possible with the move to the GDFL. “We have played in the OFL, PAFL Tier 2, and PAFL Tier 1 over the last three seasons but feel to become a better organization we have to make this move. We no longer want to be a “Semi-Pro Team” we want to be a Developmental Adult Football Team. Hopefully we can define the difference in the first year in the GDFL!
“My vision in life has always been to help others through the values learned through football. I believe this move will help the Wolves be able to accomplish that in the immediate future.” -Wolves President and Head Coach Brian Dippolito
“I just want to be coached and progress in the game I love and I believe the organization will allow me to do that with this move.” –OL/DL William Jones
“Semi-Pro has had a bad wrap and has left a bad taste in my mouth the last 3 years. The Wolves are my home and I believe the move to the GDFL will make it about football again. Bringing me back to my high school and college days!” -Vance Shuler

The team will be making the move red in their white uniforms to a Blue/Black -colored. The new look will feature a black-colored helmet with a black facemask.
“Leadership, Hard Work, and Dedication! The trial to a championship. Everyone thinks this league is about a lot of travel. With the moves it has made this off season it will be about who does those 3 things the best.”-WR Edric McArthur
