WESTERN RESERVE RADIO TO CARRY GDFL PROGRAMMING

WESTERN RESERVE MULTIMEDIA, LLC (WESTERN RESERVE RADIO) TO CARRY GDFL (gdfl.og) PROGRAMMING.

(Youngstown, Ohio; 9 January 2020) Western Reserve Multimedia, LLC will continue to air Gridiron Developmental Football League programming in 2020. Over the past two seasons, WRR and WRR2 have been the home of the Cleveland Cobras while also broadcasting several other games involving GDFL Xtreme North member teams, most notably the Erie Express and their thrilling 2018 and 2019 Xtreme Conference Championship Games with the Middle Tennessee Bulldawgs. Additionally for 2020, select games will be simulcast by member stations of the iMedia Radio Network.

“Our goal at Western Reserve Radio is to highlight these great GDFL organizations and bring the most positive and now expansive coverage to these teams every Saturday via the iMedia1 Radio Network.

We’re excited to see the recent expansion of the GDFL creating a large national minor league football network that arguably rivals that of minor league baseball. While being focused on the northeast region of the country, a secondary goal of Western Reserve Radio is to be able to add broadcasts from the west coast region to provide a late game on Saturday nights (approximately 10 EST/7 PST).

We highly value and enjoy our working relationship with Charles Thompson and the GDFL and look forward to not only continuing the previous standard of coverage, but expanding the quality and quantity of GDFL coverage in the near future.”
