Wallace Added to GDFL Executive Team

Former Nashville Storm and Middle Tennessee Bulldawg general named director of media operations.

MEMPHIS- The Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) today announced an addition to their executive board. Former Nashville Storm and Middle Tennessee Bulldawg general manager Scott Wallace was named Director of Media Operations via a press release today.

“This is a long time coming to get Scott officially on board,” said GDFL president Charles Thompson. “Scott is an accomplished sports writer that has shown a love for our brand for about five years. He has a team of writers and will help with teams to get the message out. The players, coaches and personnel of our teams deserve recognition. Scott knows how to make that happen.

Wallace is the chief executive officer of Wallace Media Group a company that he co-owns with his wife Harriet a reporter with Fox 17 in Nashville. He also writes for The Tennessee Star where he is the Metro Nashville and Sports editor and The Tennessee Tribune. Wallace has a wealth of sports knowledge and is excited to get started.

“Mr. Thompson sold me on his vision the first time we talked in 2015,” said Wallace. “When he told me what the D in GDFL meant I knew I could be part of this. To develop owners, coaches, players and personnel is great. Now my job is to develop journalists.”
