THE SALT LAKE SENATE DOMINATE THE LAS VEGAS SAINTS 62-6

by GDFL Media

Las Vegas,NV-The Salt Lake Senate (3-2) dominated the Las Vegas Saints (0-4) in their matchup, winning 62-6. The Senate were in control from start to finish, and their defense was especially impressive, shutting down the Saints offense.

Defensively,  Brandon "Duck" Howard set the tone off the first drive of the game, intercepting the Saint's errant 3rd down pass. This was a good tune up win for the Senate, and they will look to build on this momentum as they head into the rest of GDFL play.

Offensively, JaQuentyn Jenkins stepped into the role as QB smoothly, opening the Senates offense with a 27 yard completion to TE Dezmond Chacon. Other notable plays include a 42 yard reception from former Utah State safety Aaron Wade, making his Senate comeback as dual threat playing both ways.

The Salt Lake Senate hosts the Spokane Wolfpack this Saturday, July 16th, at 7:00 PM @ Skyline High, SLC.
