The Erie Express re-sign two of their top players

Erie,PA-The Erie Express are happy to announce the signing of QB-Corey McWilliams (Mercyhurst University) for the 2018 season. Corey begins his third season with the Express and returns as the starting QB. This past season McWilliams passed for 1328 yards and 11 touchdowns and added another 393 yards on the ground with 4 TDs. In two seasons McWilliams has racked up an incredible 6020 yards of offense and 89 TD's (Passing- 4895 yds 69 TDs, Rushing- 1125 yds 20 TDs). His efforts helped lead the Express to a 2017 Division Championship game and earn himself All-Pro status.

Corey has also played for the Oil Region Rampage where he earned All-Pro Status. On the season McWilliams accounted for 4.299 yards of offense (3.567 passing. 732 rushing) and was responsible for 74 touchdowns (58 passing, 16 rushing).

Dajuan Smith

The Erie Express are happy to announce the return of 6x All-Pro DL-Dajuan Smith (Gannon University) for the 2018 season. Dajuan begins his seventh season with the Express and is a returning starter on the defensive line. Over the past six All-Pro seasons Smith has racked up some impressive numbers totaling 302 tackles, 134 tackles for loss totaling -690 yards of offense, 80 sacks and 14 caused fumbles. Last season Dajuan was able to rack up a recorded 42 tackles, 19 tackles for loss (-132 yds), 9 sacks and 1 caused fumble. For his efforts Dajuan was awarded All-Pro Status for the sixth consecutive year.
