Tennessee Vikings Shut Out Missouri Silverbacks 38-0 in Statement Road Win

St.Louis ,Missouri —The Tennessee Vikings delivered a dominant performance on the road Saturday afternoon, shutting out the Missouri Silverbacks 38-0 in a game that showcased their offensive firepower and defensive grit.

Quarterback  Omarion Johnson led the charge, accounting for four total touchdowns and three 2-point conversions. He opened the scoring with a 25-yard touchdown strike to Chris Grape on a post route midway through the first quarter, then punched in the conversion himself to put Tennessee up 8-0.

In the second quarter, Johnson extended the lead with a 7-yard touchdown run and followed it up with a quick slant to Wilbur Jackson for another successful 2-point try. The Vikings entered halftime up 16-0.

Tennessee poured it on in the second half. Johnson hit Jackson again for a 67-yard touchdown bomb early in the third quarter and ran in yet another conversion, making it 24-0. Later in the quarter, Omarion Johnson capped off a methodical drive with a 5-yard touchdown run and converted the 2-pointer himself, pushing the lead to 32-0.

The defense sealed the blowout in the fourth quarter. Markevious Garner scooped up a Silverbacks fumble and pitched it back to Jackson, who raced 60 yards for the final touchdown of the night.

The Vikings improve their record with a commanding shutout victory and send a clear message across the league: they’re here to contend.
