Seahawks best Bulldawgs 38-6!!

Washington,DC -Capital City Seahawks dominate the Washington Bulldawgs 38-6  and are holding a slim lead for 7th playoff seed for the GDFL playoffs. Seahawks started the GDFL with a 1-2 record but after 3 straight wins they have improved to 4-2. QB #11 Derricco Riggins threw TD passes to perennial All-Star WR #2 Daquan "Diesel" McCarter and WR #87 Quenten Stuart. Rookie RB #19 Sean Young also accounted for 2 TDs and 150 yards to earn player of the game honors. 

Seahawks defense was stout as always accounting for 14 sacks, a safety, 4 fumbles, and 1 interception. FS #5 Kevin "KO" Griffin leadership on defense was the difference. His comments are as follows "We slipped up in the beginning of the season but now our focus is on winning. If it ain't about winning we not about it." SS #7  Chris "Dub" Washington and DE #55 Derrick Owens created havoc all day account for 5 sacks between the two of them. 

The Seahawks are moving on the Erie Express this week for a special GDFL Friday night game. Seahawks Head Coach James Crowell says "Playing Erie on a Friday night is a special opportunity for my guys to showcase their talents. We have to show up and show out." Just 2 weeks ago the Seahawks won an epic 4th quarter come from behind victory versus the Express.
