RoadRunners chase down Mustangs

by GDFL Media

Lancaster,California-Another big win on the road for the Arizona Roadrunners topping the Mustangs 31-6.  Coach Benjie Moore has his team coming together and bonding over the last few road games.  They are starting to look like a team.  Some key pieces were still missing with injuries but this team has been fighting adversity since day 1 and seem to be thriving on it.

Defense held a shut out with the only points given up was from an offensive turnover that went back for 6.  Big Special Teams play made the difference in the game with 3 blocked punts from the Roadrunners Special Teams unit.  Coach Tyler Jaquez has been working hard with his special teams unit this season proving games can be won by great special teams play.

QB KP lit it up in the air with another game with multiple touch downs.  Leon Baskerville, Ulysses Ramell Sorey, Dre Capone Dickerson all had touchdown receptions on the day proving this receiver core of Coach Richard Scroggins has been dialing it in.

Ray Ray Barry put in a great touchdown run adding to the Roadrunners touchdown tally helping the team put the Mustangs away in the stable after a long contest.

The Roadrunners have a bye week this upcoming week then travel back to California for our third road trip of the season to face out out of state rivals and Nationally Ranked #2 Inglewood Blackhawks.
