“Road Warriors Bring Championship Legacy Back to the GDFL”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
North Mississippi Road Warriors Return to the GDFL for 2026 Season
Memphis, TN — The North Mississippi Road Warriors, a three-time champion franchise and one of the most respected developmental football programs in the southern region, are officially returning to the Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) for the 2026 spring season.
The Road Warriors bring with them a proven championship pedigree:
• 2019 SEFL Champions
• 2024 NLFA Champions
• 2025 NLFA Champions
Known for their disciplined approach and consistent success, the Road Warriors have quietly built a reputation as one of the league’s most organized and competitive teams. Their return adds another powerhouse to an already deep and talented GDFL lineup.
Before securing a spot in the GDFL National Playoffs, the Road Warriors must first defend their most recent title. Standing in their way are both old and new rivals, including the Mid-South Brawlers, Jackson Stampede, and Mississippi Dirty Birds—all prepared to test the defending champions.
Team owner Rodney Rogers shared his vision for the upcoming season:
“I think we’re going to have a competitive season. We know challenges are ahead, but we’re ready for them. This team is built on preparation and confidence, and that’s the foundation we’ll carry into 2026.”
The Gridiron Developmental Football League proudly welcomes the Road Warriors back home—returning to where it all began—as they prepare to write the next chapter in their storied run.
