RedHawks Land in GDFL

Jackson, Mississippi - The Gridiron Pro Developmental Football League (GDFL) is pleased to announce that the Mississippi RedHawks will be the newest member of the South Xtreme Division making them the sixth team member and rounding out the Division in joining the GDFL for the 2023 campaign and beyond. 

The Redhawks will be located in the United States' ninety-seventh most populous metro area in Jackson, Mississippi.

Jackson is the capitol city in Mississippi and has hosted several sports teams and events. Jackson is also home to Jackson State University, a prestigious historically black university with tremendous football alumni, including Walter Payton, Jackie Slater, and Robert Brazile.

The GDFL is proud to reclaim territory in the great state of Mississippi and look forward to some exciting rivalries within the Southern Region. The RedHawks will announce more team details and tryouts announcements later this winter. So stay tuned as the Mississippi RedHawks prepare  to build a strong foundation.
