Rebels focused on Winning Division

by Gridiron Media

Tacoma Washington-After suffering their first loss of the season the Rebels look to get back on the winning path against the Everett Royals. The Rebels are 2-0 against the Royals this season, but the Royals are very hungry and eager to notch their first GDFL regular season victory.

The Rebels took a hit as far as National Rankings dropping to #6 but have all the tools available to make their mark back into the top 3. As long as the Rebels can outscore the Warriors, in their remaining 3 games they will win the Western Impact North Division, and host a first round playoff game.

Quarterback JT Taase and the high-flying offense of the Rebels will look to regain their dominance and the defense will do everything they can to keep the talented Royals out of the end zone. Points are at a premium especially now being so close to the playoffs.

The Rebels need to score as much as they can and keep the Royals from scoring to try remaining on top of their division.

The Washington Warriors are taking on the Grit City Knights at home so we’ll keep our eyes on both contests to see what unfolds.

If you’re in Tacoma on Saturday 7/23 and looking to watch some competitive football, stop by Mt Tahoma High School at 6 pm and get your popcorn ready.
