Predators on the Hunt

Rochester,New York-Upstate Predators football is getting ready for the hunt and it starts this Saturday night in Buffalo vs the New York Falcons. It will be the first battle as we begin to aim toward Gridiron Bowl weekend in Las Vegas!

Predators play in the very competitive Eastern Xtreme East Division where teams from Syracuse , Rochester and Buffalo headline. 

Returning to the team for this action packed year is All pro WR Tommy Love II who was GDFL runner up Rushing Leader last season. Love leads a very explosive WR core including Jordan Napierala, Sammy Diaz , Jarrett Osterhout , Eddie Jackson III and more. 

Predators have added a ton of new talent offensively including New Face and captain Billy Joiner at QB. Billy has come in day 1 and has led won the starting QB job for week 1. In Billy’s QB debut Win vs the Ohio Outlaws he threw for 12/15 , 100+ and 2 TD’s just before halftime before he was taken out for the rest of the preseason game. That is definitely something to be excited about. 

One of the Stingiest defenses in the GDFL last season led by All Pro and Team DPOTY LB Damon Glasgow JR. Is what branded the team the name “Apex”. This defense is rarely scored on and is very much known to create turnovers. Defensive standouts like GDFL All Pro and defensive line solo tackle leader DL Ricky Norris , All Pro and league interception leader Gavin Pierce All Pro LB Myke Wilder , and All Pro DL Dom Sedlak. New additions for this season include this years team captain Jakayi Parker , returning former 3x NFA Tackle leader and DPOTY Jay’son Huff. Adding these players to an already stacked defense makes for a scary defense this upcoming season. 

Led by Head coach Damon Glasgow Sr. through this hunt and will be geared for every single battle. Each year is an exciting year in the GDFL and the Upstate Predators is proud to be a contributor. Upstate Predators and the rest of the GDFL will be putting on shows all  season so you had better get your popcorn ready.
