Playoff Preview:Grit City Knights vs West Sound Rebels

Tacoma,Washington-Are you ready to be entertained? Because the GDFL 2022 playoffs kickoff this Saturday, August 13th, Bonney Lake high school at 7 pm. This contest will have the #7 seed Grit City Knights facing off against the #2 seed West Sound Rebels.

The Rebels will continue to look for a very balanced game plan with running and passing the ball. While the defense will hope to remain extremely stingy. They put up 382 points for and 77 points against for the season. That point differential is #1 in the entire nation.

With All Pro players like JT Taase, Thomas Alston, Cory Clingberg, Tyquan Bowie, Marshaud Dewalt, Randy Grier, Simeon Wells and their entire starting offensive line, this offense is ready to get off to a hot start. Wide Recievers Demetrius Rackley, Conner Wade, and Shane Deshotel getting into the mix as well as newcomers Bamm Daniels and Nakia Brown the Rebels have a list of problems for any defense.

On the Defensive side look for All Pros Ryan Blowers, Darius Riddley, and Isley Stoneham to put constant pressure on the quarterback. While All Pro middle linebacker Mark Tagaleoo will look to be the quarterback of the linebackers and decondary. Also getting into the mix in the secondary will be Braxton Seaich, Bryce Stewart, and Tavarus Breland. Rovers such as Jack McDonald and Thien Tran will always be flying around looking to make a difference.

And please don’t sleep on All Pro Kicker Vernon Parker. This young man leads the world in touchbacks. Punts the ball with over 5 second hang time. And can kick field goals up to 60 yards. He’s a machine out there.
