by Gridiron Media

Phoenix,Arizona-With the Arizona Roadrunners finishing the regular season (7-1) most would assume the Roadrunners organization would be ecstatic with its first years turn out.  Head Coach Ricky Herrera has said from day one “We play one game at a time, one play at a time. We don’t back down from any opponent no matter how far we have to travel.

We want to play the best which is why we are where we are.  Our Players and Coaches deserve the credit for the season but it’s up to us to finish it for our organization and community”.  Team President Matt Mason said “If it was easy everyone would do it.  We as a team have traveled more miles than any other team and have put forth an honorable mention from all the teams we have competed against this year thus far and will continue to be an organization true to its word and values.  We couldn’t have done any of this without our players, coaches, sponsors, staff, and fans. Beep, Beep Roadrunners !!!”

The first round of the GDFL Playoffs start this Saturday 8/13 as your Arizona Roadrunners take on its division foe The Salt Lake Senate @ Moon Valley High School 7pm.  The Roadrunners have had a few great weeks of practice and rest to prepare for the Senate/Playoffs and are very excited to be able to play on the field where it all began for the Roadrunners Organization.  “We practice here during the week and our players feel like this game was meant to be held at Moon Valley High School”.  Said OC Robert Jones.  “We have been doing a lot of team bonding which I feel has brought us a lot closer as a unit.  I’m excited to get back up in the booth and calling down plays”.

Jones wears many hats as OC/Owner and has brought a team to Arizona who has remained nationally in the top 10 all season.  For a first year organization in its first year in competition the Roadrunners have proved to the nation that  Arizona has the talent to produce a national powerhouse going forward in the GDFL.  #BeepBeepTour2022
