Playoff News: Washington Warriors vs West Sound Rebels In an Epic Battle for the Pacific Northwest

by Gridiron Media

Sumner,Washington-The first time the West Sound Rebels played the Washington Warriors it was a defensive battle that was finally overcome by the Rebels winning the turnover ratio and the game 32-18.

The second time the Rebels began the game very flat and made several errors that the Warriors capitalized on. The Rebels made it very interesting in the second half scoring 18 unanswered points but would fall short 27-18.

Which leads us to another upcoming intrastate battle, this time it’s for Washington State supremacy. Saturday, 8/20/22, at 6 pm, we will be coming to you live from Sunset Stadium in Sumner Washington. “This will be an instant classic thriller I’m sure of it”’,said Team President, Anthony Cowan.

The Rebels are currently ranked #3 in the country and are the #2 seed out of the Western Xtreme Conference. The Warriors are the #4 team in the country and #4 seed in the Western Xtreme Conference. As evenly balanced as these two teams are it is expected to be one hell of a battle royal!

JT Taase and the high-flying Rebel offense will look to put as much pressure on the Warriors defense as possible. TRD, or Bowie, Grier, Dewalt, and Wells will look to control the game flow. While wide receivers Klingberg and Thomas will look to continue making big plays.

The defense will have their hands full with the Warriors amazing offensive weapons. But if anyone can game plan to slow down this offensive juggernaut its Defensive Coordinator/Head Coach Sam Smith.

Overall, the winner of this game gets Washington State bragging rights all while they will face the winner of the Inglewood Blackhawks vs Arizona Road Runners game. If Inglewood wins then either team would have to travel to California. But if Arizona wins, they will have to travel to Washington no matter who wins between the Warriors and Rebels.

You can see how interesting this weekend will turn out to be. Either way it will be very exciting to watch. So, get out to the stadium, or sit at home, get the game on, and get your popcorn ready. This will be Epic.
