INGLEWOOD, Calif. (August 14, 2022) -- The Inglewood Blackhawks, the #1 team in the country will take on the Arizona Roadrunners Saturday night in the 2nd round of the Gridiron Pro Developmental League playoffs.

Inglewood has held the nations #1 spot all season with sound play on both offense and defense. Led by QB Jimmy Do (1,923 yards 31 TD's 4 INT's and 475 rushing yards 10 TD's) the Blackhawks look to continue the trend of playing sound offense and dominant defense.

Former XFL RB Terrell Alex didn't play in the last meeting against Arizona but super ATH Trae Bickham played lights out rushing for 125 yards and 2 TD's. These two together is a very formidable duo that can dominate a running game. In the receiving game you can pick your poison between Tony Parham, Justin Sydney, Daniel Allen, Terrell Bowie II, D.J. Carter, Lejeuene Moye, Cory Butler or Marco Abbott. All are dangerous from any place on the field.

On defense Inglewood have a plethora of players who show up and show out each weekend led by team captains Brian Flowers Jr. and LB Chris Fuifui. Both of these players lead by example on the field and their numbers definitely show it. DB Curtis Chatmon is tied for 2nd in the GDFL with 8 interceptions on the season.

Former New York Jets DL Rony Barrow has shown the league why he was afforded the opportunity to play at the highest level of the game by dominating alongside former Super Bowl Champion Manuel Wright Sr. and All American A.J. Sautia.

Kickoff is set for 6PM at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased by calling our team office at 424.262.4510. #GOBLACKHAWKS
