Outlaws Survive Late Push, Stun Vikings 20–12 in Game of the Week
Clarksville, TN — In the GDFL National of the Week, the Tri-City Outlaws held off a furious second-half surge from the Tennessee Vikings to secure a thrilling 20–12 victory.
The Outlaws carried a narrow 14–6 lead into halftime, but the Vikings weren’t done yet. Early in the third quarter, Tennessee began to march, and running back Flavyous Warren punched it in from inside the 5-yard line, closing the gap to 14–12 with 9:44 remaining in the fourth.
With the game hanging in the balance, the Outlaws delivered the dagger. Quarterback Dominique White connected with wide receiver Tyran Moore on a deep 40-yard touchdown strike with under a minute left, extending the lead and sealing the win.
The Outlaws’ defense stood tall in the final moments, shutting the door on any chance of a Vikings comeback.
