New Yorks Upstate Predators Advance to the GDFL National Championship Game

by GDFL Media

Rochester, New York-In great fashion the Upstate Predators are Impact Conference Champions with the win over the Syracuse Strong 14-0.

This game was a battle for 4 quarters where the score would be 6-0 until the 4th quarter.A defensive battle all the way through. The predators defense came to play football causing turnovers , creating issues in the backfield for Syracuse star running back Rashad Burns who really couldn’t get anything positive going and they also made it tough for their QB to have a clean pocket all night.

Desmond Battin (pictured below) would secure both of predators TD’s on 2 bombs over the top , also a couple clutch catches to drive the field. This was Battin’s first game back since injury in week 4. Showed up and balled like he never left.

This game marks the Upstate Predators first GDFL conference championship in Predators history and first National Championship appearance. It’s time to celebrate the win today and get back in the lab tonight !!!
