York,PA– The Gridiron Developmental Football League is excited to announce that we have received an application from the  Keystone State Predators. The 2019 Atlantic Football Association ( AFA) Championship Head Coach James E Way II, formally of the York County Silver Bullets, has decided to elevate his resume and move his expansion team of York, Pennsylvania into the  Gridiron Developmental Football League(GDFL). Mr.Way is currently completing the final stage of approval from the GDFL for the 2020 season and beyond.

The Predators are currently playing in the Atlantic Coast Football Conference (ACFA) which falls in the American Conference of the ACFA and are 7-0 in league play. They will face the Washington DC Admirals in their final regular season game this week.

The Keystone State Predators franchise was formed just this year and kicked off their inaugural season just two months ago.The Predators are already the #1 seed going into the ACFA fall playoffs and are expecting  to return back to York,PA as Division Champions.

Before launching the Predators team for the Fall 2019 season, the Predators coaches and players captured an AFA spring championship with the York County Silver Bullets and have witnessed the rapid growth of an exciting fan base in their hometown of York, Pennsylvania. This gives the Keystone region a unique football culture and a fan base that craved for quality sports entertainment.

During the spring season, winning the AFA Championship season with the Bullets placed Coach Way in a great position when his team finished one game shy of an undefeated season. After defeating and dominating their spring league and now eyeing another championship in their fall season, the league has become one of the most talked-about franchises in the region.

"So far in 2019, our teams have played a total of 17 games. Playing Spring AFA and Fall ACFA football seasons, we have a current record of 16-1 with a few games left in this fall season. In those 17 games we've only given up 90 points or 5.2 points per game. If we finish strong ,we have a shot at 2 Conference Championships and 2 League Championships in 2019", stated Coach Way.

Now the Predators are poised to compete in the Gridiron Developmental Football League for the upcoming 2020 year and continue to showcase the talent and hard work already being achieved. The GDFL will be releasing more Information about the team, merchandise, tickets and more soon.

"We are excited for the coaches, players and owners in the Keystone Region and the fans who have embraced the team and look forward to another great addition to the GDFL",said President Charles Thompson.
