JXN Iron-Hide Joins the GDFL
Jackson, Mississippi – The Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) proudly welcomes the JXN Iron-Hide, the league’s newest powerhouse franchise. In a bold move that will reshape the southern region, longtime rivals Joe Brown-Ringo (owner of the Mid-State Bison) and Iran “Ralo” Bickham (owner of the Magnolia State Knights) have joined forces to form a powerful alliance under the Iron-Hide banner.
The name Iron-Hide represents a shield of protection—a symbol of strength, unity, and resilience.
Both the Bison and Knights bring rich traditions of success:
• The Magnolia State Knights boast three championships, cementing their reputation as one of the premier organizations in the region.
• The Mid-State Bison have been a perennial force, claiming multiple division titles and playoff appearances, consistently competing as championship contenders.
Now, with this historic merger, the two programs have united their talent, leadership, and vision to build something greater than either could achieve alone.
“By coming together, we’re not just combining teams—we’re creating a legacy,” said Co-Owner Joe Brown-Ringo.
“Our goal is to set a new standard of excellence in the GDFL and bring a championship to Jackson,” added Co-Owner Iran ‘Ralo’ Bickham.
The JXN Iron-Hide will officially compete in the GDFL, taking on the nation’s absolute best and continuing the league’s mission to deliver elite developmental football at the highest level.
Welcome to the GDFL, Iron-Hide Nation.
