LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- QB Jimmy Do showed why he's one of the most electrifying players in the nation as he led his Inglewood Blackhawk team to a 38-18 victory over the West Sound (WA) Rebels in the GDFL Semi-Finals. With the win the Blackhawks play in the National Championship next week against the Syracuse (NY) Strong  who defeated The Huntsville (AL) Rockets 31-6 in the Eastern Conference Semi Finals.
This will be the first ever meeting between these two powerhouses. Jimmy Do, who only played the first half after going down with an ankle injury was playing, "Doctor" as e dissected the Rebels defense through the air and on the ground. Do rushed for a game high of 101 yards on 9 carries and had 3 touchdowns. "There safety kept screaming that we have a pop warner offense so I tried to give him every opportunity to stop us and he couldn't" stated Do.
Asked about his ankle after the game and he said, "I'm good. Junior is a great go to guy at the QB position so we played it smart and let me just rest for the second half. J.R. Cammack played the entire second half and threw for the Blackhawks only score through the air, a 15 yard strike to WR Justin Sydney.

The Blackhawks ran the ball 32 times while only passing it 21 which is a complete 180 from how they've been dominating all year.
On defense the Blackhawks had a plethora of guys causing havoc for the Rebels offense. DB Charles Ealy picked off his second pass in the past two weeks while DE Kache Palacio had two sacks 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. DE's Rony Barrow and Travis Taylor along with LB Daniel Packer all had sacks on the day as well.

LB's Devin Jones (4 tackles 1 FF) and Mikell Mair (4 tackles 1 FF) both played superb stopping the rebels potent running game. "Dewalt is a good running back and runs hard but I don't think he's played against a better backer core all season", stated Defensive Coordinator Tim Lane.
Inglewood will travel to Las Vegas next weekend to take on Syracuse in the 2022 National Championship which should be a great matchup. The Blackhawks look to avenge last years National Championship game in which they came up short against the hometown Erie Express. Kickoff time and details will be posted this week.
