LAS VEGAS, NV. - June 20, 2022 -- The Inglewood Blackhawks picked right back up where they left off and raced out to a 22-0 halftime lead as they defeated the hometown Las Vegas Saints 40-0.

With the sweltering heat the Blackhawks managed to put some great offensive drives together while holding the Saints to a total of 43 yards from scrimmage on the day. Inglewood accounted for six sacks getting two from DT A.J. Sautia and DE Jeff Bradley.

Offensively the Blackhawks were led by RB Terrell Alex who rushed for a game high 169 yards on 14 carries and 2 TD's. Alex was a human highlight film on the day which garnered the attention of a CFL scout at the game. "Had Terrell had on the correct cleats he would have rushed for 300 yards" stated head coach Tony Reid.

He slipped at least 4 times on the day and 3 of those he had so much open field in front of him. Adding to the offensive dominance were WR's Justin Sydney (1), Marco Abbott (1), and Terrell Bowie II (2) who all had touchdown receptions from QB Jimmy Do. Do who only played the first half was 8 of 13 for 125 yards and 4 TD's.
