IMPACT CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW

Memphis,Tenn-GDFL heavyweights are set to collide when the defending champion Oklahoma Thunder host the Crescent City Kings in Oklahoma this weekend. The franchises will be meeting in the GDFL playoffs for the third time in as many years. Each team earned victory on their home field and all signs point to a continuation of that trend this weekend. 

The Thunder have largely been unchallenged and unmatched since the loss, two years ago on the bayou. After capturing a resounding victory last season, drubbing the Kings 55-20, the Thunder seek to continue distance themselves from the rest of the GDFL stamp Oklahoma as the minor league football capital of America. 

For the Kings, the journey is long and the mountain is enormous. Only a perfect four quarters of football can stretch what has been a good season to the final hurdle of the GDFL season. Many eyes will be on this heavyweight matchup, but for how long. The Thunder rolled the Kings out of town violently last year and seem poised for a repeat. The message for the Thunder, is simple, just keep rolling and do what you do.  For the Kings, true glory can only be had after a great struggle.
