Huntsville Rockets to Host Knoxville Grizzlies

Huntsville, Alabama-This weekend's Xtreme South vs Xtreme North match-up should be one for the books and one that will set the tone in the Xtreme Conference.

The Huntsville Rockets come into the contest with a 1-0 record.  The Knoxville Grizzlies come into the contest with a 1-1 record, with their only loss coming from a forfeit loss. Both teams feel like they still have a lot to prove and want to make sure that the top10 ranking is legit. This matchup will definitely take place in Huntsville, AL this Saturday. All of the arrangements have been made and the only thing left is to strap-up the headgears and line down.

"We are just ready to play football and show the league that we are who we say we are. I don't like to read into rankings or hype. I like to settle the talk on the field", says Rockets Head Coach Nick Benjamin. "We are finally putting all of the pieces together and developing as a team. We still have a long way to go, but I like the progress that we are making as a unit"

The Grizzlies come into Saturday's contest looking to prove that they belong and feel very confident in taking down the defending South Region Champion. This is the first time that these two organizations will face off in each team's history. They bring a plethora of talent from the state of Tennessee and have already made a name for themselves in the GDFL. 

Kickoff is set for 6:00pm at Bob Jones High School in Madison, AL. If you are in the area and want to see a hard-fought gridiron match, you would want to be there to witness this one.
