The Howard Huskies, formerly the Cleveland Patriots was founded four years ago by Dennis Briggs. Enter Mrs. Veronica Howard who step in mid-season of the teams first season of existence and has been an instrumental part of Patriots success. Since the tragic death of her son in 2011 she has taken her organization in a new direction and has become a platform for the young men in her community to escape the violence that plaques their streets.
