Gridiron Bowl: New York vs California in GDFL National Championship

Las Vegas,Nevada-This Saturday a new GDFL National Champion will be crowned in Las Vegas, Nevada. Representing the great state of California the Inglewood Blackhawks come into the contest a perfect 10-0. 

They are ranked #1 in the Nation and are the Champions of the Impact Conference. The Blackhawks earned a first round bye, then defeated the Arizona Road Runners (Arizona) and West Sound Rebels (Washington) to advance to the championship game. 

Inglewood is in their second consecutive GDFL National Championship after making it last year before losing 42-40 to the Erie Express (Pennsylvania). The Express won their division but were eliminated this year in the first round by the Upstate Predators (New York).

On the other side of the bracket will be the #3 ranked team in the nation, The Syracuse Strong out of the great state of New York. The Strong come in as champions of the Xtreme Conference and are 10-1 on the season. The Strong qualified for the championship game by defeating the Baltimore Lightning (Maryland) in round one. Syracuse was able to avenge their only loss of the season by defeating the Upstate Predators and advanced to the Xtreme Conference Championship. Syracuse defeated the Huntsville Rockets (Alabama) to advance to the National Championship Game.

It all comes down to this, #1 v/s #3 with no game more important. East Coast v/s West Coast. GDFL National Championship on the line. Find out who wins it all this Saturday 4pm.
