Memphis,Tenn-The 2018 GDFL National Championship Weekend will be held on August 11-12 in Birmingham, Alabama the league announced this morning. “The GDFL is excited to bring our National Championship Weekend to Birmingham,” said GDFL Chief Executive Officer Charles Thompson.

“The 2018 National Championship Weekend will be an incredible experience for everyone involved, and feature two of the best football games ever witnessed the GDFL Pro Bowl and the 9th Annual Gridiron Bowl National Championship Game”. The day will kick off with the GDFL Pro Bowl aka (HYPE BOWL).
The GDFL Pro Bowl will feature the best athletes in the league representing their division, who will walk away victorious the Xtreme or the Impact Conference?

Then the GDFL National Championship game will kick off for an exciting game between the last two teams standing. Who will come out on top and be crowned the National Champion?

“The GDFL Championship is more than a game it’s a weekend-long series of events. We’re hoping to recapture the energy and excitement in 2018, while bringing even more opportunities to showcase our league.” stated Chief Operations Officer Tracey Hardney Scott. The city of Birmingham presents the ideal location for this event. The “Magic City” is rich in historical landscape.
