Greensburg Golden Hawks, Fly Into The GDFL

Greensburg, PA – The Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) is proud to announce the addition and partnership of the league's newest team based in the city of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

"The Greensburg Golden Hawks is pleased to be joining the GDFL as its newest member. With a tradition of high-quality football, great regional rivalries and sound business model, the GDFL presents a terrific opportunity for the for the Hawks," said Owner Brandon Lackey. Greensburg Golden Hawks puts an emphasis on hard work. I'm very excited about this, I have been working 7 years to this point and GDFL is a goal of mine at some point of my career owning my team cause its the best league in the country." Said Brandon Lackey.  

“Hardwork and dedication really does pays off in the end. We can recruit all the talent in the world, but we can’t be afraid to get our hands dirty. We look forward to adding momentum to the GDFL and competing for a National Championship. I am very excited to be playing with the best of the best." Stated Head Coach Curtis Gardner Sr.

The GDFL is entering it’s 12th season in 2021. The league is spread over the country from New York to California. The GDFL is a developmental league, providing a platform for athletes who look to get opportunities from the NFL and CFL (Canadian Football League). The most prominent GDFL star who made it to the next level is Devin Breaux, defensive  back for the New Orleans Saints.
