#2 Huntsville Rockets Record (4-0) The Huntsville Rockets won over the previously #3 Chattanooga Eagles 21-14 giving them the lead in their division.  

#3 Crescent City Kings  Record (3-1) The Crescent City Kings won over the previously #2 Alabama Sabers 21-14 keeping them on paste to make another Playoff push for 2017 

#4 Starkville Steeldogs  Record (4-1) The Starkville Steeldogs won over the previously #8 River City Pythons 16-14 keeping them on track to becoming a surprise team of the year.  

#5 St. Louis Bulldogs  Record (4-1) Bulldogs won over the Gateway Spartans in a dominating fashion 42-0 while maintaining their division lead and gearing up for 2017 Playoffs
