GDFL Rankings,Week 2: Bulldawgs,Express,and Dragons make debut

Week 3 is already here. Which means, while a few teams are on the rise, others are trying to climb out of a hole.

Of the undefeated teams, the Rockets have been the most impressive, toppling the Xtreme conference champs Chattanooga Eagles on the road, then going back on the road to take down the #6 team the River City Pythons of Decatur,Alabama.

Starting 0-2, however, is an uphill climb and immediately drops playoff prospects to a hopelessoutlook. just 10 percent of teams still seeking that first win in Week 3 managed to make it to the postseason. Taking a general accounting of the downtrodden -- Eagles, Xtra, and Steelers --The Eagles is most capable of playing catch-up, based on their pass at least in the standings.

#1 HUNTSVILLE ROCKETS (2-0)

 Huntsville Rockets remains #1 for another week taking down the then #6 River City Pythons 12-0. In a low scoring game, the Rocket produced their 1st shutout of the season; Look for more to come as the Rockets takeoff for 2018.

 #2 GEORGIA CRUSH (2-0) 

Georgia Crush remains #2 for another week taking down the Madison Generals 34-0. The crush looks to have re-boost their offense in week 2 after a low score victory over East Alabama Predators. The Crush produced their 1st shutout of the season; Look for the Crush to get better week after week.

 #3 MISSISSIPPI ROAD WARRIORS (1-0)

 Mississippi Road Warriors remains #3 in their 1st week of action Vs Arkansas Steelers; Victory 56-0 

#4 STARKVILLE STEELDOGS (1-0)

Starkville Steeldogs remains #4 in their 1st week of action taking down the then #8 Memphis Blast; Victory 26-12 

#5 MISSOURI CYCLONES (2-0)

Missouri Cyclones continue to move up in rankings week after week. The Cyclones defeated the Gateway Spartans 55-0. The Cyclones produced their 1st shutout of the season; look for the cyclones to continue building on their 2017 GDFL Campaign. 

 #6 OKLAHOMA OUTLAWS (2-0)

#7 MIDDLE TENNESSEE BULLDAWGS (1-0)

Middle Tennessee Bulldawgs wins big over the then #9 Chattanooga Eagles 43-18; They set the tone for their 2018 GDFL Season and jumps into the rankings for the 1st time. 

#8 ERIE EXPRESS (1-0)

Erie Express defeated the West Virginia Smash 58-0; They set the tone for their 2018 GDFL Season and jumps into the rankings for the 1st time. 

#9 LEXINGTON RED DRAGONS (1-0)

 Lexington Red Dragons defeated the Central Ohio Cavalry 42-12; They set the tone for their 2018 GDFL Season and jumps into the rankings for the 1st time. 

#10 RIVER CITY PYTHONS (1-1)

The Pythons were defeated by the top rated #1 Huntsville Rockets 12-0; However, the Pythons defeated the top rated then #4 Alabama Sabers 20-18. The pythons hold on to the #10 spot and should rebound in the weeks to come.
