GDFL Preview: Predators vs Colonials

Rochester,New York-Predators made its Washington and DMV debut in a 42-0 win over the Washington Bulldawgs in week 1. The branded offensive line AKA PHOP (Predators house of pancakes) showed exactly why they earned that name helping the offense emass over 300+ total offensive yards. THE PHOP would be named players of the game for offense. The OL created truck size lanes all game helping the offense avg nearly 14 yards a carry , and account for 5 TD’s (2 rush , 3 pass) 

Defense would be led by DE Deanthony Terrell who accounted for 3 sacks & DT Ricky Norris who also had a fumble 6 , and multiple tackles behind the line of scrimmage but also in his Predators debut LB Darius Fulton came alive with tackles , sack , and a FR in the week 1 victory. Numerous players showed their flashes that this apex defense is on its way to being one of the best in the league accounting for 5+ sacks & 8+ TFL , and 3 TO

Recently marked as #2 in the  GDFL power ranking The Upstate Predators look to continue their dominance on the road vs a cross town rival Charlotte Colonials on May 25th after coming off a convincing win in a out of division game vs the Washington Bulldawgs (42-0). Predators will be led by a Stingy apex defense who is coming off a shutout win and looking to have that same success in week 2. 

Charlotte Colonials will host their first home game of the 2024 football season looking to bounce back from a 0-6 lost last week to the Buffalo Blue Devils. While not resulting in a win , the Colonials showed their defense is still one to be watched led by Edge Rusher Milan Hlwya who has shown in years past to be a great threat to opposing offenses.
