GDFL power rankings entering Week 5 of the 2024 season

1. Raiders (1): GDFL Featured Player of the Week: QB Andre Locke  - 13-22, 211 yards, | 5 TD, 0 INT in landslide victory over the St.Paul Pioneers 41-0 Final.

2. Predators (2): Saturday was a timely reminder that not all GDFL teams will be a cake walk as the leagues #1 scoring offense Upstate Predators defeated the Buffalo Stampede 34 -24.  Sammy Diaz finished the game with 8 catches for 144 yards 3 touchdowns to keep the Predators undefeated. 

3. Seahawks (6): Edging out the Strong by 5 points at the # 3 spot and with a 4-0 record, the Seahawks are determined to keep their winning streak alive and solidify their position atop the Impact South division.

4.Strong (3): In a blow out victory the Syracuse Strong defeated the Charlotte Colonials 54- 8 led by #8 Rashad Burns 16 carries for 112 yds, 3 Tds Syracuse Strong was salty before Saturday demolition of Charlotte Colonials after slipping to the # 4 spot from #3. Time to see how well they channel all that anger as a huge prime-time affair in New York is brewing against a #2 Predators squad this weekend. The Predators were eliminated from the playoffs the last two years by the Strong.

5. Rockets(4): The Huntsville Rockets looked to prove that they were the real deal and they did just that in Saturdays contest against the Knoxville Grizzlies. The Rocket offense started the game with a punt on the first drive, but quickly got on track scoring on 6 of the remaining 8 drives. Rashad Goode would lead the charge for the Rockets with 133 all purpose yards and three touchdowns. The Rocket defense played an amazing game as well pitching a shutout in the 42-0 victory.

6. Outlaws(5): Have their full squad intact, and will definitely be a force to be reckoned with in the foreseeable future. This team has something to prove in 2024 Stay tuned as they will only get better as the season progresses.

7. Stampede(7): They've dropped their last game against Impact South Division leader #2 Upstate Predators,and are looking to get back in the win column against the #8 East Coast Blue Devils.

8. Blue Devils(10): Blue Devils defensive effort included a pass interception late in the fourth quarter with DE Wayne Stacks #26 getting a game sealing 60 yard Pick 6. Final 36-0. The win helped them move back up in the power rankings to # 8 spot.
