GDFL Partners with H.B.C.U. Educational Tours & Programs

Memphis,Tenn- HBCU college tours are one of the best ways for college-bound high school students and community college students to witness the Black College experience first hand.If you are a college-bound high school student or a community college student with a desire to attend a four-year school, HBCU college tours can give you an inside look at the best historically black colleges and universities in the United States!

The Gridiron Developmental Football league is pleased to partner with HBCU Educational Tours & Programs Inc. This program is available to inner city youth across the country through this program inner city youth are provided an all-expense paid H.B.C.U. College Tour to give them the experience they may never get without a program such as this. An HBCU experience is like no other Higher education is an experience that all youth should have the opportunity to be involved in. It helps bring about a positive change in their future. 

Many people are not aware that HBCUs were founded, not only for free and newly freed blacks, but also for low socioeconomic populations. These populations included whites as well as Latino's and break down many cultural groups that are not able to attend state supported schools. 

HBCU mission statements show their ability and desire to educate those that were denied higher education, both by law and by practice. The GDFL is proud to participate in this community give back and encourages each of our organizations to donate $1.00 from every ticket sale to this worthy cause. The Gridiron Developmental Football League is a Professional Developmental Football League based in Memphis, Tennessee. This League was established to provide the community with high quality sports entertainment and to provide athletes the opportunity to participate in professional sports.
