GDFL National Title Site Announced

Memphis,TN– The Gridiron Developmental Football League today announced that the 2021 host site for the National Championship Game (Gridiron Bowl XII), presented by the GDFL will be held at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA at the home of the Erie Express. Mercyhurst's Saxson Stadium has one of the League’s top football venues in the country. 

GDFL Chief Executive Officer Charles Thompson made the announcement today on the GDFL Sports Network in partnership with Mercyhurst University and the City of Erie Pennsylvania. 

Our League is thrilled to have our 2021 National Championship event taking place in one of the more professional venues in the GDFL, highlighting and showcasing our franchise teams on the biggest stages in a premium stadium is a tremendous opportunity for our athletes, teams and fans"-GDFL Chief Operations Officer Tracey Hardney-Scott.
