Huntsville, Alabama-Rivalry. Redemption. Weather Permitting.This week’s GDFL National Game of the Week is a clash between bitter rivals as the unbeaten Tri-City Outlaws hit the road to face the Huntsville Rockets.

The last time these teams met, Huntsville gift-wrapped Tri-City first win of the season.

. Since then, the Rockets have shown signs of life—barely falling to the powerhouse Racine Raiders 13-12, then snatching a dramatic last-second win over the Vikings, 18-12.

The Outlaws, meanwhile, have been grinding through chaos. Whether it’s thunderstorms, power issues, or unfinished games, nothing has come easy. Their matchup against the Vikings was halted with Tri-City up 14-6 and remains unresolved. Last week, they blanked the Dawgz 22-0 in a rain-shortened game that saw the 4th quarter wiped out by lightning.

Now, with both teams chasing momentum and looking to settle the score, all eyes are on Huntsville. Here’s hoping Mother Nature takes the night off and lets the players decide this one.
