GDFL LAND IN OREGON,SOUTH LANE BUZZARDS JOIN

Eugene,OR-The Gridiron Pro Developmental Football League, (GDFL) welcome the South Lane Buzzards who hail from the great state of Oregon and will be housed in the city of Eugene. The South Lane Buzzards become the 10th newest member for the 2023  season. The Buzzards finished the 2022 PNFL season at (6-4) and lost in the PNFL Championship game against the Portland Raiders 14-2 final.

The Buzzards were also back to back Pacific Northwest Football League Champs in 2018 & 2019 with a combined record of 16-1.

The Buzzards will compete in the GDFL Impact North Division, which also features West Sound Rebels, Washington Warriors and the Grit City Knights.

Being able to play quality competition so close to Oregon and being apart of the # 1 premier league in the country was a driving force behind the South Lane Buzzards wanting to join the (GDFL).We will be playing quality opponents who are within a reasonable footprint of Eugene Oregon.

We are excited to be in a league with high standards,"The idea is to come here to play for a  National title and try to go through the structured playoffs system and go all the way to a National Championship.

 You’re facing the top teams in the country from other states and regions and there are no easy wins, there’s just strong teams, so every game is like a playoff game. This level of competition is not easy."

"This is the perfect competition for (our team). Every game is tough, you face strong teams that are organized and have good coaches and are very well organized, so I think this is the best competition that our players can be in."said Team President Josh Higbee.
