Clarksville,Tennessee -The Gridiron Developmental Football League presents the National Game of the Week! The Tri-City Outlaws and the Huntsville Rockets have had some epic battles over the years. One or the other has been the holder of the Southern Regional Title for the last five years in the GDFL. Both organizations have been in existence for years and both programs have been solid members of the GDFL for some time.

Both teams come into Saturday’s contest with an undefeated record, and I can guarantee you that there will be fireworks. This will be the first time that these two power houses will face off this year and the winner of this game will take the lead in the Xtreme South Division.

“Our games are always fun. Almost like a sibling rivalry. A lot of the guys know each other outside of football. A lot of them have played against each other in other leagues and some have even played on the same team. It’s always a hard-fought game and we are looking forward to it” says Rocket’s head coach Nick Benjamin.

Last week, the Outlaws got on the right track quickly defeating the Kentucky Spartans 44-0. Having a perfect game before the contest with the Rockets will be key.” I feel like they are rolling on all cylinders, and we will have to be doing the same to win on Saturday” says Benjamin. The two teams split contest last season before the Rockets took the win in the playoffs. This is usually the case with these two teams. Both teams should be fully loaded and ready to play this coming weekend.

The game will take place in Clarksville, TN, the home of the Outlaws. Kick-off is scheduled for 7pm.
