GDFL Game of the Week: Battle of the Titans

Syracuse, New York-Two of the top unbeaten teams in the nation will face off in the National Game of the Week, The Predators are being featured in back to back weeks as the GOTW! Why because this week might be one of the most anticipated games of the season that will feature 2 of the best teams in the country. #2 vs #4 in the current National GDFL standings. 

Both teams come into the game 4-0 and are league leaders so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this game is slated as the national game of the week and could have major playoff implications.

What’s at Stake: Winner of this game could possibly secure home field advantage and take control of the Impact North Division as well as earn the title of North Division Champions. 

 Both teams have major star power when it comes to passing, rushing & receiving the Predators offense is led by current MVP hopeful Billy Joiner who is looking towards finally getting that giant monkey off his back by overcoming a Syracuse team that has had the Predators number over past few years.

Syracuse Strong bring in first year Head Coach Scott Irons while he’s getting his team together and developing a strong running game that was led by #8 Rashad Burns on 16 carries for 112 yds,and 3 touchdowns in last weeks victory over Charlotte. The real question is will he be able to carry the load against one of the top defensive units in the nation?

Both of these teams have a ton of great athletes on both offense and defense it will be like two titans clashing in a match that could go down as an instant classic. You don’t want to miss out on this matchup as the GDFL presents the National Game of the Week!
