GDFL Chief Hired as Head Coach Pro Arena
(St. Charles, MO USA) – March 2, 2017 – Gridiron Developmental Football League are proud to announce that Greg Moore “Chief” Head Coach and Owner of the St.Louis Bulldogs (GDFL) will take over the head coaching duties this season for the River City Raiders Pro Arena team. His coaching staff will include Justin Kutz, Demoine Smith, Jeff Hunt, and Dan Montgomery.
“Coach Moore is very well respected, not just in the football world but he is well respected nationwide for his public and national service. Coach has an extensive resume not just in football but his duty to our great country” said Jason Pilarski, Vice President of Operations.
Some of Coach Moore’s greatest accomplishments have been serving not only our community but our country. Coach served 8 years in the United States Army, 10 years as a St. Louis City Police Officer/Detective, and 8 years working nationwide for the FBI. During his time in service, he started looking at ways to get into football.
Due to his limited time during his career, he began to study the game and get into coaching in Chicago, IL. Coach Moore has now been coaching high school, semi-pro, minor professional and arena football for over 30 years. “Arena football is an exciting, fan connected, and fast paced game. Arena football was designed to score touchdowns, and me being a defensive guy, I've got to devise a way to stop the other team from scoring touchdowns” said Coach Moore.
“We are excited about our players who are promoted to a payed professional level but it is also great when you see an icon like Coach Moore promoted and given a well deserved chance to share his skill & knowledge as a professional ”, stated Charles Thompson GDFL . “We know he will put a top notch organization on the field while also bringing a model team to emulate off the field. Coach Moore brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Raiders ”.
