GDFL ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP SITE!!!

Memphis,Tenn-The Stage is set just two teams remain. Who will be the last team standing? It will all come down to the last whistle! The Gridiron Developmental Football League is pleased to announce the 2017 National Championship Weekend will be held on August 26, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee.

 The Oklahoma Thunder (10-0) and the Chattanooga Eagles (9-1) will both vie for the championship crown.  This is the 4th time the Oklahoma Thunder will make an appearance in the GDFL National Championship. They are 2-1 overall and are the current National Champions with hopes to be the first team in the GDFL’s history to win back to back titles. The Chattanooga Eagles, new to the GDFL are coming off of a stellar season.

 They have proved to be a worthy opponent for the teams that comprised their division. They go into Saturday’s game as the underdog yet they possess the determination and talent to come out victorious. The Gridiron Developmental  Football League National Championship Weekend will be a day filled with fun & exciting athletic competition.

 In addition to the Championship game the league will also host the Hype Bowl where the  undefeated Spring Champions Middle Tennessee Bulldogs will play the 5 seeded GDFL playoff contender North Mississippi Road Warriors.(7-3) Followed by our Military Classic. It’s a weekend not to miss. Games will be played at Kirby Stadium, 4080 Kirby Pkwy, Memphis, TN 38115 Kick-off will be at 12:30 pm gates will open at 12:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00
