Family Ties:

Same name different plan.Hannas look to use competitive edge in big game Saturday!

Will Hanna is the Head Coach and General Manager of the Baltimore Lightning.  The Lightning have been the biggest surprise in the GDFL this year by far.

With their 4-0 start, including a win in week 3 over Erie, the Baltimore Lightning bring one of the nation’s top defenses into Pennsylvania.

Brandon Hanna is the reigning league MVP and quarterback of the 2021 National Champions Erie Express.  He did not play in Erie’s loss to Baltimore earlier this year, and the game plan may be totally different.

“For 60 minutes this won’t be a family reunion by no stretch. We’re both looking to win a football game.  Brandon is one of the most talented quarterbacks that we’ll face.  A great test for our defense.” -Will Hanna

Saturday’s game has major implications as the Bolts could move from first to third with a loss and a Columbus win.  With a win, the Lightning would clinch a playoff berth in their first year in the GDFL.
