by Gridiron Media

Opelika,ALĀ -The Eagles took care of business this past weekend in all phases of the game. The Eagles first drive was capped off with a 45 yard touchdown pass from QB Sam Caffey to WR CJ Deloney. That was about as close as the game would be for the rest of the night. The Eagles defense imposed its will against the Predators. Tim McClendon continues dominating offensive lines and racked up 7 total tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 2 sacks, and 4 QB hurries. He also had a punt block right before halftime. The Predators got the ball first in the second half and went 3 and out. On the first play of offense for the Eagles in the second half, QB Sam Caffey tossed his 2nd TD of the game linking up with Kolby Copeland for a 35 yard TD connection.

The offensive line opened up some massive holes for RBs Robby Turner, and Cedrick Edwards. Robby finished with 7 carries for 88 yards on his short night. Cedrick carried the ball 9 times for 106 yards, and also had a TD.

The second half was most of a ground and pound for the Eagles. Dee Suttles got an INT for the Eagles late in the game capping off their night.
