EAGLES FLY HIGH

Chattanooga,TN-The Eagles got back on track with a 28-22 win over the Georgia Crush. The Eagles were lead on offense by Robert Cobb who had 17 carries for 90 yards, Robby Turner who had 12 carries for 61 yards, and CJ Deloney who had 4 catches for 57 yards and a TD.

The offense flashed its versatility this weekend. Players made plays when their number was called.

The numbers did not show the level of play from the QB position by Kolby Copeland, who was 11 of 29 for 117 yards, and 2 TD passes. Coach Hayden says, "Kolby is an all around team guy who spreads the ball around and doesn't turn the ball over.

That's all we ask of him." The defense was lead by the two inside LBs Johnathan Robinson and Darius Chalk. Robinson had 7 tackles and Chalk had 5 and topped his night with an interception on a 2-Point Conversion. Momentum swung on the first drive after half time when Ro Caffey intercepted a pass and took it back for 6. Coach Hayden said, "The Crush do a really good job staying within their offense. Our pass rush is usually what makes our defense tick, but when we play them we know that their QB likes to get the ball out. The kid can play.

We talked to our entire defense and made sure they were tight in their coverage. We threw the kitchen sink at that guy and he still made plays. Hats off to him." Coach Hayden expressed a lot of love for his team, and especially his coaches and staff. "Without those guys none of this is possible."
