CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CAPITAL CITY SEAHAWKS:IMPACT SOUTH DIVISION CHAMPIONS

by GDFL MEDIA

Washington,District of Columbia-“The Capital City Seahawks (5-1) have had their ups and downs this season it definitely has been challenging especially losing against the Buffalo Stampede (4-2)16-8 final”,said James Crowell Head Coach. With the Stampede putting a blemish on their record and dashing their hopes of an undefeated season it definitely was a low point for the organization. But with two winnable divisional games remaining on the schedule and a three game lead over the rest of the division it’s safe to conclude that the Seahawks have clinched and will be crowned the Impact South Division Champs and will get to host a first round playoff game on Aug 3,2024. The question remains who will be their opponent?

Heading into Saturday, the Seahawks were in full control of their own destiny and knew that the divisional title was theirs. Business was handled.

The other playoff scenario is the Impact North Division while the Upstate Predators vs Syracuse Strong remains a little more complicated and could ultimately decide who has to travel to Washington D.C. on Aug.3rd.

The Syracuse Strong (5-0) vs the Upstate Predators (5-0) The winner will be in the drivers seat to host the 1st round and possibly lay claim to the Impact North Division title as well as home field advantage a lot is at stake this weekend. On another note the Buffalo Stampede (4-2) is a sleeper and who ever draws them in the first round of the playoffs will be in for an all out war!  Buffalo Stampede is Idle this week.

The scenarios unfolding for the Predators and Strong are intriguing, and will only strengthen this ongoing rivalry for years to come. Stay tune as this saga continues!
