Colorado Springs (SoCo) Renegades Ready to Debut in GDFL

Colorado Springs,CO – The Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) is proud to announce the addition and partnership of the league's newest team based in the city of Colorado Springs,Colorado.

"The Southern Colorado Renegades excited to call the GDFL home. With a tradition of high-quality football, great regional rivalries and sound business model, the GDFL presents a terrific opportunity for the Renegades ," said Majority Owner Marion Hall."

SoCo Renegades puts an emphasis on hard work. We are playing in the #1 minor professional league in the country the GDFL. Our city, Colorado Springs deserve to have a true pro level football franchise that fans can get excited about. With our team being the only national team in our city, We are gearing up to put out the best product in the country.“Colorado Springs did an excellent job in coming together to support us, the organization and the players,”Coach Lucky said.

 Even though we lost in the 2019 CFA Championship Game against the Greyhawks “They showed up when we needed them, and we hope they continue to do that in the future.

“We’re at a good starting point and the foundation has been laid, so hopefully we can build on that next year.”We are in the process of recruiting the best talent available. But all the talent in the world isn't enough if we don't work.

The GDFL is entering it’s 11th season in 2020. The league is spread over the country from East Coast to the West Coast. The GDFL is a developmental football league, providing a platform for athletes who look to get opportunities from the NFL and CFL (Canadian Football League). The most prominent GDFL star who made it to the next level is Devin Breaux, defensive  back for the New Orleans Saints.
