BOLTS AND SEAHAWKS SET IN CLASSIC BATTLE OF D.C. VERSUS BALTIMORE THIS WEEKEND

Washington,DC-The Baltimore Lightning (0-0) and the Capital City Seahawks (1-0) have some history.  But the history is more with the head coaches, James Crowell of the Seahawks and Will Hanna of the Lightning.   Two Hall of Fames coaches go head to head in a game that could have early playoff implications. 

Both teams have made their mark in the GDFL.  The Lightning have finished 5-3 in both seasons in the league while the Seahawks finished 5-3 in their inaugural 2023 season.  

The rebuilt Lightning have added some key pieces on both sides of the ball while the Seahawks look to maintain the run of excellence.  

James Crowell: “It’s always a good game against those guys.  I know that Hanna is always gong to bring something out of the woodwork, but we’re ready for it.  We’re on a different mission this year.”

Will Hanna: “We know them well.  And for us to get to where we need to be, we gotta win.  Plain and simple.  They’re in our way and I’m sure they feel the same.  Hawks/Bolts is always a good game.  Get your popcorn ready, all I can say.”
