Blackhawks will get a 2nd chance in Gridiron Bowl XIII, Redemption

Inglewood,California - The Inglewood Blackhawks are headed to the GDFL National Championship for the second year in a row with a dominant win over West Sound Rebels,38-18. 

The Blackhawks will face the Syracuse Strong(New York) in Las Vegas Saturday on Labor Day weekend September 3rd at 7 pm.This will be the first time the Blackhawks(10-0)face the Strong(10-1)

 Blackhawks are the heavy favorites to win it all and have dedicated there entire 2022 season to getting back and winning the National title in what has been dubbed as redemption after losing to the Erie Express in last year’s Gridiron Bowl 42-40.

The Impact Conference game was never in doubt with the Blackhawks scoring early and often in the first half. QB Jimmy Do performed yet again, with 3 TD passes, 180 yards and 101 rushing yards in just one half of football. The Blackhawks in the second half ran the ball 32 times and only passed 21 times. 

The Blackhawks defense came up big this pass weekend with 3 turnovers and 6 sacks. Special teams did there job. “So all three phases of the game where clicking”,stated Head Coach Tony Reid.

The Blackhawks now prepare for Syracuse, a team team they’ve never played.Who also had dominating performance in the Xtreme Conference Championship game vs Huntsville Rockets. Both teams are physical and and can definitely put up a lot of points quickly.
