Blackhawks host Hot Everett (WA) Royals Team Saturday Night in GDFL National Playoffs
Inglewood,California-Saturday night the fans will get a playoff treat as two of the GDFL's hottest teams will face each other in a much anticipated playoff game. The Everett (WA) Royals (8-1) will take on the undefeated Inglewood Blackhawks in the quarter-finals of the GDFL National Playoffs.
The Royals come into the game after knocking off the the Spokane (WA) Wolfpack by the score of 36-0 while Inglewood comes in after receiving a 7-0 forfeit win over the Arizona Roadrunners.
Everett had one of the leagues biggest turnarounds this season by going from a one win team to where they go Inglewood is led by a receiving core that has been electrifying all season in Vincent Strange Jr, Justin Sydney, Terrell Bowie II, and Zach Fields II.
All four have assisted in helping QB's Nolan Brammer and Wooda Armstrong account for close to 4,000 yards this season. DB Darius Barlowe Sr. leads the defense with 10 interceptions while LB's Devin Jones and Mikell Mair have shut down anything in the run game. DE's Clinton Greenaway, Quran Bouldin, Kache Palacio, and Jeff Bradley all have been menaces off the edge all season long.
